Palletizing 25 kg jerrycans is one of the most physically demanding tasks on any production line. In this case, the challenge was to eliminate that manual workload without adding complexity to the process: the robot handles its own pallets from a stack, and the operator only needs to remove the completed pallet when required.
The result is an installation capable of handling 20 jerrycans per minute, featuring an end-of-arm tool designed to manipulate up to five units simultaneously, while adapting to different production line configurations.
Jerrycan Palletizing
Palletizing robot equipped with a specially designed gripper for the simultaneous handling of up to five handled jerrycans.
The robot automatically supplies itself with pallets from a stack, while completed pallets are removed manually.
